Emmy and Lauryn's Mommy brought the kiddies up to the rv last night and they stayed overnight and spent the day here with Nana today. The weather wasn't the best but we managed to find all kinds of neat things to do. The kiddies love swimming and even though the sun wasn't shining brilliantly, the pool was lovely and warm and they had a ball splashing around in there for about an hour. The afternoon proved rainy and chilly - a perfect afternoon to spend inside the rv painting and making bead necklaces and bracelets. When the sun finally came out, we quickly made our way down to the little store for some double chocolate brownie ice cream cones and playing in the park!
So even though the weather wasn't that great today, we managed to have lots of fun and laughs. They have gone back home now but will be back again next Thursday.
Hubby is on his way up for a nice long weekend with me in the rv and on Sunday we are expecting our grandson Ozzy to come and stay for a couple of days.
How time flies when you are having fun!! ;-)
