Panama Here We Come!

I've been busy today running last minute errands and packing for our trip.  One more big sleep - well, it won't really be that big really because we have to leave the house by 3 a.m. tomorrow morning!

I think the kitties sense something is up because they want to sit inside our suitcases ... ahhh !

While in Panama, I am looking forward to checking out some of these beautiful molas I have heard so much about.  It would be wonderful if I could incorporate them into a quilt when I get home as a special momento of our holiday.

Now, have we forgotten to pack anything????? ;-)

Vacation Time

Only 37 more hours until we leave on our week's holiday to Panama!  The closest we have been to South America is Costa Rica so this will be a new experience for us.  We are blessed to be able to book our vacations within a couple of days of leaving and this was no exception.  We have enjoyed the most wonderful savings booking in this manner.  Of course, we never know where we are going to end up either but shorts and suntan lotion are always in the suitcase! ;-)

Today would have been dear Margie's birthday ... happy birthday sweetie - we miss your smiling face!
