God Bless the Children !
On Thursday evening I was most fortunate to join several other wonderful ladies from our guild - and accompanied by my little granddaughter, Lissy - and travel to Children's Hospital in Vancouver to present our quilts to the Kourageous Kids. What a lovely evening! I must admit there were moments when I felt quite choked with emotion - especially seeing the little kiddies - so young - battling this insidious disease - all with a smile on their faces though! It was painful also to watch the parents and siblings of children who had passed away accepting the quilts on behalf of their child!
