Well, our week away in the rv has been very relaxing. The weather has been rainy and very overcast every day with the exception of the day we arrived and the following Saturday. So while it has been nice to get away in the rv with hubby and catch up on some reading and watching a couple of movies in front of the fireplace, it is not the way we enjoy spending 2 whole weeks away. Sooooooooooooooo, having said that ...
We went back across the border yesterday as I had the guild meetings to attend and a memorial service for a dear friend's Mom who passed away recently. I was just getting ready to leave the house for my guild meeting and hubby came bouncing down the stairs asking me what I had planned for the upcoming week. I told him that we were still supposed to be away in the rv until June 5th to which he replied that he had made other plans! We are flying off to Cabos on Monday for a week's fun in the sun. Gerry has booked us into the 5* Riu Santa Fe right on the beach with an oceanview suite. It looks and sounds heavenly. At last, we can bring out the sunscreen and pop on the sunglasses! LOL
We got up this morning to find another dreary grey day which is such a shame but we are going to make the most of it ... we even have a lovely steak barbie planned for this evening's dinner.
Tomorrow we are heading back home with the rv and will put it back into storage until our next rv trip out at the end of June.

Wow!!! Fun in the sun!!! Can't wait to hear about it!! We have had days of wind and rain.....it is very green! But our spring looked like it might be hot and dry.....so I am glad for the rain...but as you say too much does make thing a bit soggy!!! We are heading north this weekend to open the camp in the Adirondacks ... I hope the lake is warm..... Well...looking forward to some pictures of your trip!!
